capt's jimmy gahm and sean carton took tom and tim cunningham of colts neck out for their annual canyon trip on august 16/17. the troll was tough as we missed 3 whites and jumped a blue. the tuna fishing leaves much to be desired right now. the night chunk is also unimpressive as far as tuna, but wait, the boys hit pay dirt once again. after a long battle and several turns at the rod a 225lb swordfish came into the cockpit. the guys did a fantastic job landing this trophy. at dawn the small tuna were around the boat, but we only managed to jig 1. the am troll was again a bust, so capt jimmy headed inshore for a shot at a bluefin. after a short while we pulled the hook on a fish and headed for the barn with dinner and then some. tom and tim have set the mark for the 2009 swordfish meter.
