capt's jimmy gahm and sean carton took the flying zagorski brothers and friends out for a day of bluefin fishing. before we came tight on the anchor the guys had 3 fish on and it was like that for hours. one fish was spooloing us so jimmy got off the ball and they battled the fish for over an hour. the guys passed the rod several times and finally sean sunk the gaff into a 55" fish which later weighed in at 95 lbs(nice fish).
we opted for the bluefins since the yellowfin are conspicuois by their absence in the canyon, and it was certainly the right call.
