capt's jimmy gahm and sean carton took ken switzer of nyc out to the hudson for an overnighter sunday sept 20th. the trolling was dead as we landed a few nice mahi but the chunking was great. the guys brough out their shimano butterfly jigs and the tuna cooperated as we boated 18 small yellowfins to 35lbs. the jigs accounted for most of the fish as they yellowfins didn't want the chunks. all in all it was a great trip and our first real slammer chunking trip of the 2009 season.  hopefully the fish get bigger and the weather starts to cooperate.
